My advice to BDZ colleagues is to be open, transparent and to work to the maximum extent with the Transport Committee. This was announced by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rosen Zhelyazkov during the presentation of the new management of Holding BDZ EAD to the relevant parliamentary committee.
Grigory Grigorov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, pointed out that their main task is to develop a sustainable model for the development of the company for the next 10 years as soon as possible. It must take into account the current state of the company, the rolling stock, and the possible changes in the legal framework for the next few years. The first option is expected to be developed by February 15.
The management will prepare a program to ensure a reliable, high quality and affordable service, as well as the behavior of BDZ in line with the economic situation in the country. It will also propose changes to the legal framework and maintain the financial situation within manageable frameworks, so that no extraordinary action is taken by the principal and the main owner - MTITC and the state respectively.
Another priority for the new management of the company is providing the Train Traffic Chart for the current year with the resources available at the moment.
The company is going to introduce modern business methods that will be market oriented and secured through the implementation of process planning and management systems.
In the short term, it is envisaged to improve the working conditions of the operating personnel, the information provided to the clients through various online travel facilitation tools and other measures.
