Sofia Airport will become Eastern Europe's largest aviation maintenance hub. This was underlined today during a meeting between the Minister of Transport and Communications Krasimira Stoyanova and representatives of the aviation industry.
Minister Stoyanova expressed readiness to participate in working and innovative meetings and full support for all new projects in the sector. During the discussion were raised issues related to the staffing in the sector, the infrastructure of the Northern Region of Sofia Airport, the validation of documents of foreign pilots in Bulgaria and others.
Good dialogue in the aviation sector leads to good decisions, Minister Stoyanova said at the end of the meeting.
