Stoyan Stoyanov is the new Director General of the National Railway Infrastructure Company. He has been appointed from today by order of the Minister of Transport and Communications pending a competition. By law, the Director General is also a member of the Board of Directors of the NCWA.
Stoyanov is an expert with over 30 years of professional experience in the field of railway transport. Over the years he has held various positions in the railway system. In the period 2007 - 2021 he was Director of the Electricity Distribution Division of NC Railway Infrastructure and Manager of Tren Ltd - a subsidiary of NC Railway.
Stoyan Stoyanov holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy. He also holds a Master's degree in Communication and Security Engineering and Systems from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport.
By the same order, the Minister of Transport and Communications dismissed the current director Maria Genova.
