Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications
Zhivko Petrov holds a master's degree in Navigation from Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna. He has almost 40 years of professional experience in the field of waterborne transport.
From 1989 to 1992 he worked as a Navigation Deck Officer in Burgas, and in the period 1993-2004 he held various managerial positions in a tanker company.
From 2007 to 2014 and from 2021 to present, he was the Director of Maritime Administration Directorate, Burgas. In the period 2014 - 2021, he was the Executive Director of Maritime Administration Executive Agency.
